How can I write a 3 or more, page paper about “What if America did not win on Iwo Jima…?”?

well could someone give some ideas as to how I could start my paper? because im really stuck. I just want to write a paragraph. but I know I can write about the history && background. but how would america be today if we did not win on Iwo Jima?

Well, it’s difficult to believe that America would have lost World War II had that battle gone differently. It might have taken longer, but you’d think the muscle of the Allies would still be too much. So the story probably still has the same conclusion.

Besides, it’s not like the atomic bomb could have been delivered much quicker. That essentially shortened the war so that it concluded within days. America might have had less territory at the time, but Japan still would know defeat was inevitable after Hiroshima.
