Magazine Cover
can i use magazine cover in my portfolio as an example of where my work has been published?
I am a graphic designer and designed a DPS advert in a magazine. I am now updating my website to showcase my work. Can I use the magazine cover legally to show where the advert was published (I am going to link the JPEG to the magazine website) or is it a infringement of copyright?
It is an example of your work and you can mention the magazine in your portfolio. I don’t think the magazine would mind because you are mentioning them by name and in a positive light and sending people to their website.
