What would be the value of a basketball signed by the 1978-79 Indiana State University men’s basketball team?
My father has a basketball that is hand-signed by the ENTIRE 1978-79 Indiana State University men’s basketball team (the one with Larry Bird that made it to the NCAA title game). Since this is obviously a one-of-a-kind item, I haven’t been able to find much information that would help me make a sound estimate on its value. Anyone with any sort of knowledge of sports memorabilia or appraisals who can help me out?

If you are going to sell it online, it is better to just have it authenticated by experts in the memorabilia field. There might be nearby memorabilia shops in your area so ask for something similar about your autographed memorabilia, they can give you a quote. Knowing that the entire team signed this, this makes it more valuable, ranging a thousand USD. But better yet, bring this to a reputable memorabilia shop and have it appraised. Good luck!
